Radiology

150 150 PVC

Radiology (x-ray) can help us diagnose many conditions in animals and can provide early detection and treatment of severe diseases, including, but not limited to:

  • Fractures
  • Arthritis
  • Foreign bodies in the stomach or intestines  (i.e corn cobs and tennis balls)
  • Bladder stones
  • Cancer (neoplasia)
  • Pneumonia

All of our locations use digital radiology which allows for images to be easily shared for specialist interpretation and is the most efficient in diagnosing your pets health.

Our Peninsula Vet Care hospitals have excellent, state-of-the-art facilities, allowing us to perform and assess x-rays immediately and safely. Sedation and anaesthesia is often required as this will provide the most effective images and the least amount of stress for your pet.
